Meet Abby.

I have been an artist my entire life. From crayon sketches at 5 years old, to realistic masterpieces at 18, art has always stood at the center of my career. Originally from a small town on the upstate New York and Ontario border, nature and culture has been one of the biggest influences in my designs. Growing up nestled between the Adirondack Mountains and the St. Lawrence River, there was always inspiration and beauty around every corner.

Attending Pratt Institute and Virginia Commonwealth University for fine arts, and the University of Delaware for a BS in Apparel Design and a Master’s of Science with a concentration in visual and tactile aesthetics; art, fashion, and design have constantly held together my artistic values and passions.

I have had the opportunity to teach various sections of fashion art studio course through my graduate program at the University of Delaware. Coming from a long line of educators, I always wanted to be different and be an artist. But isn’t funny how life works out sometimes though? Years later and I am finding out that art and design is about sharing your talents with others and working collaboratively with other creators. I have worked as an instructor, a freelance artist, a design assistant, a senior stylist, an e-commerce specialist, and an operations specialist. I am eager to learn and grow in all aspects of related design industries and hope to continue to use my talent for the new innovative, sustainable, and ever-changing nature of design!

Make it aesthetically pleasing.

If there is one thing about my work that makes it different from the rest, it is that there is a heavy focus on the small details. The craftsmanship and execution of my work is nearly flawless. With special attention to aesthetics, visually appealing themes, and perfect organization, the work stands out in a crowd. I will always go over and beyond to perfect my work.

There has always been a need for perfection and capturing the realistic side in all of my designs. Through years of fine arts training, illustration, digital design, apparel construction, technical pattern-making, and product design, my expertise covers a wide range of artistic and creative mediums.

As a seasoned artist, creator, and educator, and apparel professional, I strive through my personal work and career to create a world that is more aesthetically pleasing and innovative (while of course maintaining my obsession with accuracy and organization).
